Bus ride from Zaanse Schans to Volendam

Is there an easy way to get to Volendam from Zaanse Schans on a weekday? Thinking of tomorrow. Looks like the 800/801 busses only run on weekends.Thanks

You're correct, outside of the summer season (july & august), lines 800 and 801 only run on weekends (and public holidays, like today).
Unfortunately, the next-best connection on weekdays is about an hour to the train station, or a bit more if you're travelling to the Zaanse Schans itself. The route is generally via Amsterdam, but can occasionally be done with a bus to Purmerend, a train to Zaandam, and a bus or a train from there to Zaanse Schans.
